From the very beginning, we wanted to improve the trucking industry
The idea behind Dispatch Dog was born out of a shared frustration experienced by Winston and Jie during their time in Canada. It all started when Winston was visiting family and found himself disappointed by the slow delivery of a package he ordered from Amazon. Drawing from his extensive experience in the logistics industry in China, Winston knew that there was significant room for improvement in the last mile delivery sector.
Jie, who was studying at a university in Toronto, had also faced similar challenges with Canada’s last mile delivery services. The inefficiencies in the industry were glaring and the pair realized that there was a massive opportunity for innovation that could greatly enhance the end-user experience, not only in Canada but also in the US.
